Graphic and unnaturally colored flowers symbolize beauty standards, parasitically and destructively growing on the women’s psyche. Surreal, graphic nature emphasizes that existing beauty standards are actually man-made with mass media, and not our natural perception. Naturally, beauty is to the eye of the beholder, yet we have allowed media to augment our reality, like a drug, to the extent we evaluate beauty on an artificial rigid standard.
