Imperfectly Perfect

For a while, I treated my face as a collection of features to be revised, wishing to dissect and erase the parts which I felt insecure about; eye bags, moles, asymmetrical features. But, as this series symbolizes, I’ve since realized that true beauty is not a machine-perfect collection of body parts. Imperfection is human beauty, and as an artist, that is what I embrace.
